Hello Friends and Families of Room D-102,
Is it supposed to be Fall? I'm sure the cooler weather is coming. Speaking of weather, in Science we just finished a unit on clouds. Our caterpillars are about to turn into chrysalis, and we are beginning a unit soon on desert animals. In Social Studies we are learning about being a citizen and voting and about the 3 branches of government.
Soon we will be participating in a community service project for Veteran's Day. We will be collecting word search and crossword puzzle books (large print preferred if you can find them) for the veterans at the Veteran's Hospital.
I will see you soon at parent conferences. Check my newsletters for your conference time. I am really looking forward to meeting with each of you to discuss your child's progress.
